Our edge is in the case-study approach we use to analyze stocks.  We spend an inordinate amount of time interacting with the people of the businesses: the customers, management and employees.  As is the case with most professions, when the technical tools of the trade become second nature to the practitioner, ultimately people are where a deeper understanding is achieved.
